? Now Hiring: Welder/Fitter I? Cookeville, TN | ? Full-TimeQualified Staffing is currently seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter I for a great opportunity in the Gordonsville area! If you have experience reading blueprints and enjoy hands-on fabrication work, this could be a great fit for you.? What You’ll Do:
Fabricate and weld components according to detailed prints and specifications
Build high-quality products using engineering instructions
Ensure all work meets quality standards and is built to print
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace
Use hand and power tools to complete assigned tasks
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
✅ What We’re Looking For:
Minimum of 3 years of welding/fitting experience (or equivalent)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Good organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic math skills and problem-solving ability
? Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Frequent use of hands, arms, and back for lifting, pushing, and pulling
Comfortable working in a shop or field environment
Exposure to noise, machinery, and varying weather conditions
Must be able to wear required PPE (safety glasses, gloves, etc.)
