Stamping Press Technician Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PMQualified Staffing is currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Stamping Press Technician to join a growing manufacturing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys precision work and takes pride in producing high-quality parts. If you have manufacturing experience and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy matters, we'd love to hear from you!Job SummaryAs a Stamping Press Technician, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining precision stamping presses used to manufacture thin, delicate components. You will ensure tooling is properly aligned, machine settings are optimized, and materials are handled with care to prevent damage. This role requires a strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, and dedication to workplace safety.Responsibilities
Set up and operate precision stamping presses.
Prioritize safe work practices while following all company safety procedures and lockout/tagout requirements.
Monitor production to ensure parts meet quality standards and tight tolerances.
Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures to inspect finished parts.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and production documents.
Collect and document quality data throughout production.
Identify quality concerns and make adjustments or notify the appropriate personnel.
Perform routine preventive maintenance on stamping presses and related equipment.
Recognize equipment issues and communicate with maintenance to minimize downtime.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Previous manufacturing or stamping press experience is preferred.
Ability to read measuring devices and interpret technical drawings.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Basic math skills.
Dependable with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Frequent use of hands and arms while operating machinery and handling materials.
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds occasionally.
Ability to safely operate equipment using push buttons and foot pedals.
Work EnvironmentThis position is performed in a manufacturing environment with a moderate noise level.
