If so, this position is ideal for you.Our client is looking to hire an experienced Cut Off Saw Operator This is a 1st Shift position Monday – Friday maybe required to work on Saturday. Hours: 6:00AM UNTIL 3:30PM; Payrate: $15.00hr Duties and Responsibilities:
At the beginning of each shift, receive work orders from the lead person what needs to be sliced.
Gather foam blocks to be sliced and place on table; arrange foam within measurements on table. Set up slicer to correct measurements for slicing, make minor adjustments.
Tag with info for next operation. Transport sliced foam and shop order copy to designated area when slicing is complete. Accountable for accurate slicing of foam.
Maintain excellent housekeeping practices in production area.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of two years of experience in slitting.
Knowledge of quality control principles.
Ability to troubleshoot and adjust machinery.
Excellent mechanical aptitude.
Required Skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work overtime or weekends when needed.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented and proactive.
Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
