Job Description
Material Handler – Day Shift
As the Material Handler you will be responsible for planning & coordinating the movement, verification & maintenance of records for incoming goods. You will ensure the safe transport and storage of materials, ensuring accurate inventory levels.
Key Responsibilities:
•Compares identifying shipment information & counts, weighs or measures items of incoming goods to verify information against packing slips & bills of lading.
•Verifies labeling with outgoing paperwork to ensure accuracy
•Safely transports, receives and loads/unloads shipments of incoming and outgoing goods while verifying there is no damage to packaging/goods.
•Enter received goods into the inventory system as per existing policies & procedures.
•Cycle count parts inventory as required.
•Report discrepancies or anomalies of incoming goods per procedures.
Skills/Qualifications:
•3 years manufacturing experience
•Experience with working with ERP and or Inventory Management Systems
•Require Lift truck license.
