Our client is a full service professional engineering firm with offices in Holland, Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Lansing, & Ypsilanti, Michigan, is seeking to fill a full time Civil Project Engineer I position. This position can be located in Grand Rapids, Holland or Kalamazoo, as desired.
This opportunity is for a self-motivated inpidual who excels in multi-tasking and communicating with fellow engineering staff, and is skilled in the use of AutoCAD Civil 3D. The inpidual will work with and under the direction of the Director of Civil Engineering, as well as and Civil Project Managers, and be accountable for a wide variety of tasks on projects in the areas of industrial, residential, and commercial site development, and municipal infrastructure design. Primary duties will include preparation of civil engineering drawings, site plans, and construction plans, preparation of design calculations and engineering reports, construction observation & testing, and other civil engineering- related tasks.
The ideal candidate will have attained Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, have passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam, and be knowledgeable in the use of AutoCAD Civil 3D. Must have at least 2 years of experience as a civil engineer. This inpidual must have the ability to work well in a fast paced team environment.
