Are you looking for a new career? Are you looking to work in a fast-paced environment? Look no further! Our Tier 1 automotive supplier is looking for Assembly operators to add to their Novi team. They are seeking full-time positions with room for advancement. Our client is a leading manufacturer of torque transfer solutions, which includes manual rear-wheel drive transmissions, dual clutch transmissions, hybrid & EV transmissions, gears, shafts, clutches, shift controllers, synchronizers, and mechatronic systems. In this position you will be responsible for assembling transmissions with hand tools in an air-conditioned clean room. You even get to wear a lab coat. No experience necessary, training provided!

1st, 2nd, and Swing shift positions open and available for immediate placement!

Pay: Up to $19.50/hr 

Essential Functions: 
  • Ability to read operator instructions and perform complicated assembly tasks
  • Must be able to operate in a team environment
  • Must be able to perform basic problem solving
  • Performs preventative maintenance on assigned equipment
  • Produces quality assemblies and performs necessary quality checks
  • Updates all measurable information relating to efficiency as required by the Operations Supervisor

Qualifications: 
  • High School Diploma
  • 1-3 years previous assembly experience 
  • Basic technical reading skills
  • Must have good interpersonal skills
