We are working with an established manufacturing company that is looking to fill one full-time Quality/ CMM Tech position in their quality department. In this position, your primary responsibility is ensuring the accuracy and precision of our products using advanced measurement and inspection techniques and advanced data analysis. This is an entry-level position with great learning opportunities with room for advancement. Job responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Responsibilities Include:
Using CMM such as a Faro Arm, Romer Arm or equivalent with PolyWorks Software.
Conduct advanced measurements and inspections to ensure the accuracy and precision of our products.
Utilize specialized metrology techniques to identify and resolve quality issues.
Work with quality team to communicate with customers and suppliers in matters relating to product quality including necessary travel as required in regards to Data.
Assist with master list of controlled gages.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality control processes and procedures.
Analyze and interpret measurement data to identify trends and potential areas for improvement.
Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to product quality.
Perform Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Measurement System Analysis (MSA).
Train and educate team members on metrology techniques and quality control processes.
Oversee inspection, measuring, and test equipment.
Analyze current measurement procedures and recommend changes/improvements.
Communicate with management on quality control issues and provide recommendations for improvement.
Collect and perform statistical analysis on metrology data to correlate to performance metrics.
Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years of experience with a Faro/Romer Arm.
Must have Polyworks software experience or equivalent software experience.
Automotive industry experience is preferred but not required.
Continuous quality improvement experience.
Must have geometric dimensioning/tolerance knowledge.
Must have Gage calibration experience.
Problem solving/8D experience.
Must have Minitab experience.
MS Office proficient (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
