Job Description

Our client is an industrial manufacturer of landscaping products including abrasives used both commercially and residentially across the Midwest.  They are looking for a Production Associate to join their team. In this role this person will be operating their filling machines as well as preparing products for shipment.  Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely and efficiently operate filling machines to package industrial salt products in compliance with company standards.
  • Verify the quality and quantity of filled bags before shipment. 
  • Organize and palletize filled bags of salt for shipment, ensuring proper stacking and securing of pallets to prevent damage during transportation.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the workspace, including the filling station and surrounding areas. 
  • Assist with routine maintenance of equipment as needed.
  • Work closely with coworkers and supervisors to meet production goals and assist in other tasks as assigned.
 Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is an advantage but not required.
  • Ability to operate machinery and learn quickly.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
