Job Description


Do you have experience working as a press operator or machine operator? Are you mechanically inclined and enjoy learning? Qualified Staffing may have the opportunity for you! 

Hours: 
  • Monday - Friday 7am - 3pm
  • Sunday - Thursday 11pm - 7am 

Pay Rate: 
  • 1st Shift - $17/hour
  • 3rd Shift - $20/hour 

Job Duties: 
  • Operate various types of presses according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Set up dies and feeding mechanisms on the press machines to ensure proper alignment and operation.
  • Monitor the production process to detect any abnormalities or issues with the equipment or materials.
  • Adjust machine settings such as speed, pressure, and feed rates to optimize production and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Load metal sheets or coils into the press machines and unload finished parts from the machines.
  • Inspect finished parts for defects or imperfections and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on press machines, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn or damaged parts.
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform minor repairs as needed to minimize downtime.
  • Keep accurate records of production output, downtime, and any maintenance or repair activities.
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) while operating machinery.
  • Collaborate with other team members, including supervisors, engineers, and quality control inspectors, to optimize production processes and resolve issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Continuously strive to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality in the metal stamping process.
  • Attend training sessions or workshops to stay updated on new technologies, techniques, and safety practices relevant to the job.
