Job Description





Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work inside the blast booth wearing a blast hood
  • Safely remove metal scale, rust, labels, or any defects with the use of compressed air and steel shot
  • Comply with all company safety and environment directives, including Personal, Protective Equipment
  • Perform General housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

. Ability to focus on task at hand 

. Ability to work independently 

. Ability to work from catwalks and confined spaces.

. Ability to work in low lighting conditions.

. Experience is preferred but not necessary

. Ability to multitask 

. Ability to work in a dirty environment

. Ability to walk and stand entire shift.

. Ability to reach within hands and arm’s length.

. Stoop, kneel, and crouch while blasting

. Ability to lift 40 pounds, occasionally
