This is a Direct-Hire position.
About The Position
As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the optimal functioning of our production equipment to support the manufacturing of plastic parts for the automotive industry. You will be responsible for maintaining equipment to uphold quality standards, meet production schedules, minimize costs, and adhere to stringent safety protocols.
Duties and Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and maintain assembly line equipment, including EOL vision tester, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and OETIKER pincer tool.
Provide technical support during new installations and startup.
Perform daily maintenance, reporting, and repair tasks, and collaborate with maintenance and ME teams.
Create Emergency Work Orders (EWO) after troubleshooting.
Prepare 5-Why reports as necessary.
Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance tasks and update maintenance records.
Conduct daily inspections of the air compressor room.
Support the main grease line until the Operations group is fully trained.
Update Autonomous Maintenance (AM), Clean Inspect Lubricate & Retighten (CILR) programs, and collaborate with the Operations team.
Order parts as required and conduct monthly spare parts audits.
Provide operator training until the Operations group is proficient.
Ensure quality maintenance and support.
Provide support for Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) improvement initiatives.
Perform Early Equipment Maintenance activities.
Lead safety, health, and environmental awareness efforts.
Support maintenance Business Plan Initiatives (BPI) and propose cost-saving ideas.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Establish and maintain equipment standards in line with engineering principles and safety regulations.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.
Address project-related queries from company personnel and vendors.
Develop, interpret, and implement maintenance policies and procedures.
Identify and implement cost-effective solutions to maintenance issues.
Provide training and ensure adherence to established policies and procedures.
Required Experience:
Minimum of 3 years in maintenance field.
Journeyman certification required.
