MACHINE OPERATOR (Molding Dept) – 3rd Shift  Are you an experienced molding machine operator? Do you want to start your career in manufacturing? Our client, a leader in plastic injection molding, is interested in you-regardless of your experience level!  Work schedule is currently 10 hours/day Monday through Friday and 8 hours/day Saturday and Sunday however this will return to 8-hour days with occasional overtime once production needs are met.  Normal work schedule Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM with overtime as needed. Follows directions correctly as instructed and pays attention to detail.  Job Responsibilities:
  1. Operate machines according to written instructions contained in the “Process Operating Instructions” posted at each job site.
  2. Know “Process Operating Instructions” for machine and part that is running.
  3. Ensure the prevention of nonconforming material.
  4. Initiate solutions to quality related problems.
  5. Hold questionable material.
  6. Keep work area neat and orderly.
  7. Sign Operator Acknowledgement Sheet in Job Instruction book to verify criteria for each job ran.
  8. Read job book and sign an Operator Acknowledgment Sheet for each job not run in a month or longer.
  9. Responsible for tools and equipment assigned to operator.
  10. Run jobs to their processed cycle time.
  11. Record required information in the Daily Production Sheet.
  12. Responsible for part quality.
  13. Packing of parts.
  14. Follow instructions when performing secondary operations/two operator jobs.
  15. Sorting and reworking of parts as described by shift supervisor or quality inspector.
  16. Confirm grinding correct material type for grinder being used. 
  17. Know and follow all ISO/IATF16949 policies and procedures.
  18. Adherence to Company Policies and Regulations.
  19. Performs other duties as assigned.
