Job Description


A Sulligent, AL manufacturing facility is currently in search of Engineering Co-op participants. This program is for current college students (sophomore year or higher) that are pursuing an electrical or mechanical engineering degree. The facility is willing to work with class schedules as needed throughout the week. This will be a paid internship starting at $18.00 per hour.

The Engineering Co-op/Intern will work with Engineering to improve quality and/or productivity through process improvement (DFT, 5S, and Tooling Changes). Assist Engineering in new product introduction and process setup. Interface with all other engineering components within the company on engineering related issues. Assist other departments as required.

Key Accountabilities:

• Respond to inquiries with tooling/ fixture issues

• Help maintain work instructions (OMS and related documents)

• Create PowerPoint presentations (Change Proposal and/or Process Records)

• Manage databases and input information, data, and records

• Create 2D and/or 3D Models and Layouts for Process Equipment
