Job Description

WE ARE HIRING! 
Qualified Staffing - Calhoun is searching for Calendar Operators for a local international flooring manufacturer in Calhoun. This is a great opportunity to join a reputable company!
SHIFT: 2nd (3:00p-11:00p). PAY: $17.00 LOCATION: Calhoun, GA
RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Operate grinding/milling equipment 
  • Cut material off a mill and feed to an overhead conveyor to an extruder.
  • Lift the rubber into a mill and or the Rollerhead. 
  • Read and understand a schedule while using a computer interface to record production.
  • Operator must understand critical quality checks and be able to accurately measure specifications.
  • Strong communication with the Rollerhead Line Operator and the Drop Mill Operator.
  • Rotate between Rollerhead feed mill operator, rollerhead line operator and Tread Press Operator. 
  • Weigh chopped/milled material to a specified weight. 
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employee's of the organization.
  • Follow company's safety policies and guidelines. 
  • Clean equipment throughout the shift and shutdowns.
