Perform routine and non-routine operations required in the Enzyme, Chemical and / or Microbiology lab by following written directions and procedures while maintaining accurate up-to-date records of all work performed.
Duties: Perform analyses and methods accurately and reliably
Responsible for meeting relevant KPIs and goals
Understand and properly use lab equipment and methods relevant to the work area
Calculate and record accurate data in the following: Lab notebooks, LIMS and SAP, etc.
Perform routine instrument maintenance and calibrations as outlined in Technical Equipment SOPs
Perform basic troubleshooting techniques as outlined in SOPs
Develop an understanding of production processes and products
Develop working knowledge of lab software including-
Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
SAP, LIMS and AnEx Software
Regular communication with listed contacts
Report needed glassware, chemicals, standards, substrates and other lab supplies
Utilize good communication skills to support daily work activities and project related assignments
Participate in QC departmental meetings, projects and teams, Fill in for other lab personnel as needed
Participate / responsible in updating of Lean boards as assigned
Be on time and prepared for board meetings
Present problems/ issues and suggest solutions
Dedicated participation (board meetings, problem solving and Lean improvement activities)
Perform job duties in a manner that supports site Quality, Safety and Environmental Policies and regulations, and contribute to improving results in these areas

*Monitoring and recording necessary information for departmental databases
*Cleaning of compost site

*Start-up, Monitoring, and Shut-down of center pivot irrigation equipment
*Operation of Irrigation pumps
*Assist in repair of Irrigation and composting equipment

If you have a solid work history they will consider training someone with no factory experience.
