This individual must have a vast amount of knowledge and experience in support of Ground Support equipment and general mechanical systems. This individual is responsible for the overall execution and day to day operation of all areas of the program. Responsible for production of a timely/quality contract. Must be able to interpret engineering data and engineering change proposals to determine impact on applicable equipment. Must be able to utilize provided hardware and software to update existing and develop new technical manuals and illustrations. Must have a working knowledge of applicable military standards and specifications. When required, this individual must be able to develop maintenance/description data on new systems incorporated into equipment and update/modify/revise associated support technical manuals. This individual is also responsible for generating modification documents. Must be able to provide assistance to other team members during periods of peak production requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Interface with Government customers and other contractors as required.
  • Continue building the technical strength of the group in order to support future program needs.
  • Possess and maintain an active security clearance.
  • Travel in support of technical manual conferences, meetings, reviews, validations, verification's, and other technical data related activities; travel may be both CONUS adn OCONUS.
  • Provide support and data as requested for administrative purposes and in support of the Quality Management System.
  • Travel in support of conferences, meetings, reviews, and other related activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned at the discretion of management.

Monday - Friday; 8:00A - 5:00P

$15.00 per hour



Candidates must have the ability to obtain and retain a security clearance enabling access to various government facilities. 

Education and/or Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate Degree preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as MIL-Spec's, schematics, technical data packages and drawings. 
  • Minimum 2 years technical manual update experience in a related field, familiarization with field and depot level maintenance activities, technical manuals, material qualification & acquisition systems, and maintenance policies & program desired.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, the individual should have advanced working knowledge of computers, software and general office equipment. Competent in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and Access; Adobe Programs such as FrameMaker, Illustrator, and Photoshop; and Corel Programs to include Photo-Paint and CorelDRAW
