We are looking for an average candidate to join our fast paced Howell Staffing Team! 

 

Job Summary

Responsible to recruit and hire for a wide range of positions while following company policies, procedures and employment laws.

Job Duties:

  • Recruit, screen and interview candidates for possible career opportunities
  • Administrative duties, answer phones, schedule appointments, greet customers, scanning and filing
  • Complete all company and client specific pre-employment requirements 
  • Complete verification of employment, administer pre-employment testing, I-9 requirements and administer drug screens
  • Conduct new employee orientation and comply with all boarding process requirements
  • Work with client to gain an understanding on the staffing needs and maintain good relationship
  • Coordinate and attend events focused on recruiting and employee recognition
  • Accurately maintain employee files in accordance with company policies and employment law
  • Responsible for on-line Marketing and Social Media Sites
  • Drive and attend off site meetings, events, networking and employee engagements
  • Advertising and Marketing responsibilities in office, off site and electronically
  • Other duties requested by Management

Previous experience in a fast paced office environment

Previous experience in recruiting preferred

Must be able to work alone, prioritize and possess high sense of urgency

Ability to post open positions, market and network via social media sites

Must be able to multi-task and strong organization skills

Ability to work alone or with a team

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience/proficiency in MS Office and MS Outlook

40 hour work week

Typical Work Hours:

Monday - Friday

8:00am-5pm

OT as required

Must have flexibility with work schedule to accommodate early or late interviews

May be required to adjust work schedule for recruiting / employee events, that may be on the weekend
