General Responsibility: to assist with the process of moving and distributing materials. This could include from one department to another, from the yard to a department, from a department to the yard, from a truck to a department and/or from a department to a truck. Also includes staging such material.


Essential Functions:

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Identify, transports, relocates, delivers, packs, removes and disposes of materials as needed by department
  • Contributes to production by distribution of product by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies and/or staging finished product
  • Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory
  • Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders
  • Maintains in-process inventory at particular department by delivering, unpacking materials and supplies and staging such material and supplies
  • Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading and securing product
  • Documents product shipment by recording materials/units shipped
  • Maintains material-handling equipment by completing inspections, suggesting repairs as needed
  • Daily communication between plant and purchasing to ensure smooth operations
  • Manage and monitor multiple systems to ensure adequate supply to ensure no customer supply disruption occurs
  • Unload all freight
  • Weigh and remove all scrap material
  • Empty wood dumpster
  • Stock gas tanks for all boats
  • Other duties as required


Quality Control

  • Directing objectives to maximize profitability
  • Monitor own performance - self-audit for accuracy and produce high level output



  • To implement and adhere to all written policies and philosophies of Crest Marine
  • Attend meetings as requested

Recruit to Permanent Position , Pay is based on entry level . There are cross training , attendance, and other pay incentives in this position
